Freeze Dryer With Concentrator
Roch Mechatronics inc. begins an Implementation of the high concentrating ‘concentrator’, which prevents the bubbling phenomenon of the sample by spin concentrating and permits 100% recovery of the sample without damage.
Since the freeze drying of the concentrating-drying system is operated by an independent control it is an economic multi-function type that can be operated depending on the purpose of the sample desiccation.
The concentrating freeze-drying can concentrate and dry using various capacity tubes from micro-tube of 1.5ml to 50ml tube during freeze-drying, allowing one to utilize the optional space while making it economical.
Preventing the bubbling of a sample within the tube by a strong centrifugal force permits 100% recovery. Installation of an MPB brushless D.C. motor provides the convenience of eliminating the need for brush replacement and the prevention of contamination within the experimental chamber.
Key Features to Expect
1. Integrated Freezing + Concentration System
Compact design efficiently couples the freeze-drying process with vacuum concentration, allowing both functions within one instrument.
2. Wide Applicability for Sample Volumes
Supports a variety of containers—from 1.5 ml microtubes to 50 ml tubes, multiple-well plates, and even 250 ml bottles.
3. Powerful Cooling and Cold Trap Capacity
Cold trap temperatures typically range from –50 °C / –65 °C to –75 °C / –85 °C, enabling rapid condensation and sublimation.
Ice capacities vary—common models range from 3–12 liters, depending on scale and model.
4. PTFE / Teflon Coating for Chemical Resistance
Condenser and chambers are often coated with PTFE (Teflon) to resist corrosion, especially when processing aggressive solvents like HCl, TFA, or DMSO.
5. Rapid & Clean Operation
Models include hot-gas defrost systems, enabling quick and contaminant-free cleaning.
Automatic purge systems help protect samples by preventing oil backflow from vacuum pumps.
6. Ease of Use & Automation
Many feature touchscreen or panel controls with programmable operation, digital displays, and data export (often via USB).
7. Flexible Chamber Design
Equipment varies in chamber configuration—with heated shelves, manifolds, multiple ports, and options for different container types (ampoules, flasks, trays).
8. Robust Refrigeration & Vacuum Systems
High-performance compressors (Danfoss) and vacuum pumps (ISL136, ISL201) ensure fast and efficient freezing/drying performance.
9. Quality Certifications
Many units hold certificates like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and CE compliance.
